Welcome to 3/4 F from KPS blog!

Dear 3/4 F families,

My name is Jack Lawicki and I am studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Monash University.  Throughout 2012, as a part of my final year teaching placement, I have been observing and teaching lessons in 3/4 F. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the students and the experience has been highly valuable for my development as a teacher.

I write to inform you that from the 20th of August until the 7th of September I will be on my final block of teaching placements in 3/4 F. Under the guidance of their classroom teachers I will be in full control of teaching in 3/4 F during this period.

To make the most out of the three weeks I have created a blog to celebrate the achievements of the students. The blog will be regularly updated with students work and information about what is happening in our class. The blog will not feature any photos which could be used to identify people and no surnames will appear on the blog.

Students and parents are encouraged to make constructive contributions to the blog via the comments feature. All comments will be moderated before they appear on the blog. Remember to protect yours and others privacy when posting comments online by not revealing personal information.  We will review the Acceptable Use Policy with the students before the blog becomes active to remind students of their responsibilities when using digital communication technologies.

I feel that the blog will complement the Digital Excellence and SuperClubsPlus programs in developing the digital skills of the 3/4 F students.

I look forward to collaborating with the 3/4 F students and families.

Yours Sincerely

Jack Lawicki
